Can I go to my personal trainer straight after my appointment, it is only in Didsbury so would be convenient for me?
No, I would avoid any physical exercise for 24 hours, it can encourage sweat and bacteria which can result in adverse reactions. Swimming is also discouraged for 24 hours until the micro channels created within the skin heal.
Can I continue with my usual skincare regime?
Yes, however depending on specific indication you are seeking medical micro needling then you may be asked to consider the use of specific topics that may assist with your treatment aims. Retin-A products shouldn’t be used for 12 hours pre treatment and for a minimum of 72 hours post needling. SPF 50 should be applied daily.
